1. Scope of Use & Eligibility

This website is operated by Difinery. By accessing and using our website, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Use of this website is permitted solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

By purchasing from Difinery, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements and that all information provided during checkout is accurate and complete.

2. Product Information, Pricing & Payment

All prices on our website are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable laws.

We accept major credit and debit cards and Difinery-issued gift cards as valid forms of payment. By completing a transaction, you authorize Difinery and its payment processors to process and charge the provided method. 

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to typographical errors, pricing discrepancies, stock limitations, or suspected fraudulent activity. In such cases, any collected payment will be refunded in full.

3. Shipping Policy

Difinery currently ships within the United States through trusted courier partners. Standard shipping is complimentary on all orders above the minimum threshold displayed at checkout.

Our estimated shipping time is 7-10 business days from the date of order confirmation. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking link via email. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking to activate.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Difinery is not liable for lost or stolen packages that are marked as “delivered” according to the carrier’s tracking system. Orders returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may incur additional fees, which will be deducted from any applicable refund.

We do not ship internationally at this time.

4. Return Policy

Clients may request a return within 30 calendar days from the delivery date of the original order. All return requests must be submitted through our customer service team prior to shipping the item back.

To be eligible for a refund, the piece must be returned in its original, complete, undamaged, and resizable condition, including all packaging elements and documentation:

  • Original jewelry box, intact and unmarked

  • Certificate of authenticity

  • Purchase invoice

  • Any accompanying documentation, cards, or branded elements

The item must show no signs of wear, damage, modification, or improper handling. Any return that does not meet these criteria may be partially refunded or rejected upon inspection.

Shipping and deductions

  • The cost of return shipping will be covered by the client and deducted from the final refund amount.

  • This amount may vary based on the item's condition and any applicable restocking or handling fees.

  • After receiving the item, our team will conduct a quality review. If any damage or deterioration is found to be the result of client mishandling, an additional deduction may be applied based on the condition of the piece.

  • Refunds will only be processed once the piece has been received, reviewed, and approved by our quality team.

Please note: Returns will not be accepted outside of the 30-day window or if the product arrives incomplete, altered, or in unsuitable condition.

In addition, gift cards, engraved pieces, and personalized or custom-made jewelry are final sale and not eligible for return or refund under any circumstance, regardless of condition at the time of request.

5. Resizing Policy

We offer one complimentary resizing for eligible pieces within 60 days of delivery. This service is available for standard designs that allow for adjustment. Custom-made, engraved, or non-resizable designs are not eligible for resizing. Our team will review each request to confirm feasibility before proceeding.

To request a resizing, please contact our customer care team with your order number and the new size needed. You will be responsible for securely shipping the piece back to us. Shipping for resizing is covered by us once the piece is returned. 

Please note:

  • Complimentary resizing is limited to one adjustment per piece 

  • The resizing process may take up to 14 business days

  • Pieces must be in original and resizable condition to be eligible

6. Warranty and After-Care Policy

All purchases made through our official website or authorized Difinery channels are covered by the following:

Warranty Coverage

We offer a one year  limited warranty from the date your order is delivered. This warranty applies exclusively to manufacturing defects in craftsmanship.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Lost or stolen pieces

  • Surface wear from regular use (e.g., scratches, fading, tarnishing)

  • Damage caused by improper care, including exposure to chemicals, water, or excessive force

  • Modifications or repairs made by third parties

  • Alterations to the original design, such as resizing

  • Items obtained through promotional campaigns, giveaways, or third-party vendors

Proof of purchase may be required to validate warranty eligibility. If the warranty is approved, Difinery will cover both pickup and return shipping costs. If the item is in stock, it will be replaced. If unavailable, store credit will be issued.

Complimentary Polish & Cleaning

Clients who subscribe to our newsletter or register through our website are eligible for one professional polish and cleaning service per piece within one year of the delivery date.

This service restores the original shine through professional care, but does not include physical repair or structural restoration. It must be requested through our customer service team within the two-year window.

7. Gift Cards & Promotional Policy

Difinery gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-reloadable, and do not expire unless otherwise required by law. Once issued, they cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or reactivated after full use.

We do not offer seasonal discounts or markdowns. All promotional activity is designed to preserve the integrity of our pricing model.

8. Privacy & Communication Policy

Difinery does not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not track behavior through cookies unless essential for site function. 

We only collect personal information if you choose to subscribe or register through our website. You may unsubscribe at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Difinery shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the total purchase price of the item(s) in question.

This limitation of liability does not affect any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website is the property of Difinery or its licensors. Use of Difinery trademarks, including the “Difinery” name and logo, is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

By using this website, you consent to the jurisdiction of these courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

Difinery reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly.

Your continued use of the website after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.
